Alex Townbridge
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Alex Townbridge, DPT is originally from Minnesota and brings a lifelong passion for movement, performance, and recovery into his role as Lead Physical Therapist at The Pacific Campus. He earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from North Dakota State University before going on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Jamestown in Fargo.
Alex’s path into physical therapy began early. After undergoing three knee surgeries during high school sports, he spent countless hours in physical therapy clinics and quickly realized he wanted to build a career helping others recover, rebuild confidence, and get back to doing what they love. His personal experience as an athlete and patient gives him a unique understanding of the physical and mental side of recovery.
Today, Alex actively trains and competes in CrossFit alongside his fiancée, who coaches full time at 12 Stones CrossFit. Outside the clinic, he enjoys football season (“Go Vikes”), spending time with friends from the fitness community, playing video games with longtime friends back home in Minnesota and North Dakota, and participating in fitness competitions and events. He and his fiancée recently purchased their first home and stay busy with their two dogs, Chunk and Nemo, while planning their wedding this October.
Alex is passionate about empowering patients with the tools, education, and confidence they need to take ownership of their health and continue doing the activities they love for years to come. He believes physical therapy should not only help people recover from injury, but also help them move better, feel stronger, and live fuller lives.
