Position: Nursery Attendant
Department: Family Programs
Reports to: Family Programs Director
Pay Range: $17.13 hour

The Pacific Campus, premier health and sports campus of the northwest, has an immediate need for a Part-Time, Nursery Attendant to join our team!

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Attendant to join our morning Nursery team with occasional evening shifts. As an Attendant, you will be responsible for providing care and support to children in our Nursery at ThePC. The ideal candidate should have experience in nannying, special education, daycare, or early childhood education. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and contribute to their development.

Duties:

- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in accordance with their individual needs
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, cognitive, and social development
- Assist with bottle-feeding
- Change diapers and assist with toilet training
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of play areas and equipment
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary to ensure their safety and well-being
- Collaborate with parents or guardians to understand and address the specific needs of each child

-Ability to communicate and work well with co-workers and management

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children in a nannying, special education, daycare, or classroom setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices- strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to adapt to different environments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

-18 years old or older

- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Additional certifications or coursework in early childhood education (preferred)
